Air quality
is one of the most overlooked components of a respiratory protection
program. Compressor systems often produce air that does not
meet the minimum requirements for respirator breathing air.
Even if the atmosphere is clean, contaminants can reach the
respirator wearer if drawn in at the compressor intake or picked
up from plant air piping system. Many of the contaminants present
in compressed air can be removed through the use of filters.
CO monitors, an important component of a compressor-supplied
air system, alert the user to the presence of lethal carbon
monoxide.
COMMANDAIR
FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Bullard's
CommandAir Series offers high quality in-line filtration for
compressed air with integrated monitoring for carbon monoxide.
Available in portable case oe wall-mounted panel units, these
systems can help convert a standard compressed air supply to
breathing air quality for workers wearing airline respirators.
- Rated
flow of 75 cfm with inlet pressure of up to 125 psig
- Monitor
feaatures a 90 dB alarm to alert users of the presence of
CO in levels exceeding the preset level of 10 ppm
- Thre
stage superior quality filtration removes oil, water, particulate,
oil vapor and odors while offering the lowest pressure drop
in the industry for high operational efficiency

for use with airline respirators, this compace, durable unit continuosly
monitors a supplied air source for carbon monoxide hazerds. Alert-1
is factory set to sound an audible alarm if CO levels exceed 10
ppm. The monitor incorporates an easy to read LCD display for visual
monitoring.
- Electrochemical
sensor for accuracy and reliability
- 120 dB
high intensity alarm for high noise work environments

41 Series Airline Filters
Bullards
41 Series airline filters can be used in conjunction with other
compressor safeguards to supply cleaner air to airline respirators.
Seven layer filtration media effectively traps water, oil, particulates,
odors and organic vapors so that cleaner air can be delivered to
worker(s) or equipment.
- Heavy duty,
steel housing withstands rugged industral environments
- Available
in two outlet and six outlet models for respirator use and single
outlet model for non-respirator use
